Come as you are... and bring a friend!

Having fallen in love with the B&B experience while traveling through Ireland in the 70’s, the desire to some day offer a similar experience to others finally came to be twenty years later.  The doors to Welcome HOME Bed & Breakfast opened to the public in May of 1998.

Unlike many B&B’s which are older homes converted to include lodging, Welcome HOME B&B was newly constructed from the ground up.  Careful thought went into the home’s design to ensure that we met our goal when inviting everyone to “Come As You Are.” Welcome HOME B&B is wheelchair friendly!

Attention to detail has made our home and surrounding 18-acre grounds accessible to all – young and old!  You’ll find a comfortable, homey feeling throughout, while at the same time, you may notice subtle features that meet the needs of most folks living with disabilities.

With the desire to find a rural setting close to urban settings, the search for the prefect location to build Welcome HOME B&B was lengthy. We think you’ll agree it was time well spent. We found the perfect spot! We are located within a 15-minute drive to Cedarburg, West Bend, Port Washington and the shores of Lake Michigan. Welcome HOME B&B is only 30 minutes north of Milwaukee.

Welcome, HOME B&B is an "L" shaped house set on a hillside that had been a dormant cornfield.  That field is now a flourishing native plant prairie presenting year ‘round beauty – from bronze colored grasses in the winter to a rainbow of summer blooms. We invite you to meander the trails around the prairie and into the adjacent mature woodland.

We look forward to meeting you soon and will do our best to make your stay at Welcome HOME B&B memorable.  Your hostess, Diane lives in a separate (yet attached) wing of the house. Having a private keyed entry to the home, B&B guests are encouraged to come and go as they please.

Don’t be fooled by our reasonable price. We are confident you will be pleasantly surprised.
